Rodrigo y Gabriela: Saturday, 3:30PM, What Stage. Their Thursday night 'Roo show two years ago was one of the most mind-blowing sets of music I've ever witnessed.

Booker T. and the MG's, "Green Onions"

Booker T. and the DBT's: Saturday, 3:00PM, Which Stage. The DBTs are, of course, the Drive-By Truckers, sitting in for Booker's usual companions, the MGs. It's always a thrill to see Steve Cropper and Donald "Duck" Dunn, but I'm sure the Truckers will bring it.

Girl Talk, "Play Your Part (pt. 1)"

Girl Talk: Friday, 2:15AM*, That Tent. Most people who have been near me in the last few years have heard me gush about this guy. I love the fact that dedicated and skilled video editors have created mashup videos for his crazy tracks.

* Note: for the purposes of the Bonnaroo Previoo, I am going with the convention that my geek friends and I adopted in college--it isn't actually the next day until you've been to sleep. Hence, Friday at 2:15AM is technically Saturday morning, but I'm still calling it Friday. Don't think about it too hard.

Phoenix, "1901"

Phoenix: Friday, 11:30PM, That Tent. Their new album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, is getting all kinds of buzz; I've only given it a cursory listen or two, but I think this will be one not to miss.
